Bavarian Inn Shepherdstown, Shepherdstown

I had a mix of experiences at this resort. The restaurant had great food and service during our Thanksgiving lunch, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, I was disappointed with a previous dining experience, where our family faced misleading information about a buffet that never happened, and the cleanliness at our table was a concern. Overall, it seems they have potential but need to improve their communication and dining experiences.

The hotel has a beautiful pool area perfect for relaxation, and the restaurants offered great meals. However, the service was inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating at times. I did have some issues with my room's noise level and cleanliness, which detracted from the overall experience.

Overall, I had an enjoyable stay, but the hotel has some room for improvement. The views from my balcony were spectacular, and the pool was refreshing. However, the room decor is tired, and the internet connection was frustratingly unreliable. The dining was decent but didn't quite meet my expectations based on the recommendations I've heard.

However, I did notice some areas that could use improvement, particularly with seating and drink service which could be a bit slow. Overall, it’s a lovely spot and I look forward to returning.
